I guess I was wrong when I said I won't be posting until Monday or Tuesday. The church camp (well, it wasn't really a church camp, juz d cellgroup only) 2 Malaysia rox! I left on Friday evening and came back just 30 minutes ago. None of the cellgroup members were there on Friday, so my family and I went to a restaurant in the hotel/resort to eat dinner. After that, I went back 2 the hotel room and watched channel 8 all the way until 10pm, thereafter watching Disney channel(there was nothing else to watch). Halfway, I turned to Channel 5 and it was showing the history of Germany football so I decided 2 watch that. I wonder whether any of u guys watched d opening match of the world cup. It was a very exciting match, just like the one of Trinidad & Tobago vs Sweden, though in the latter, the final score was 0-0. Anyway, the match of Germany vs Costa Rica ended up in Germany winning by two goals, 4-2. I stayed up 2 watch until 2am then went 2 sleep and woke up @ 9am.
Day 2: There was this activity centre in the resort and it was fun. There were games like table soccer, snooker, pool, darts, mini golf, table tennis, bowling and carrom. Most of the time I played carrom(Do you know what dat is in the first place?) but I played table soccer too. The cellgroup members and my family went 2 the Chinese restaurant for dinner. The last time we came here (2gether w/ d cellgrp members), my father had 2 take the food out of the kitchen cos their service was SLOW. This year, we occupied 2 tables and ordered different things. Guess what? They got the orders mixed up! We ended up having more than we should have. Since we ordered 20+ dishes, it took VERY long to arrive. The last dish came @ 8.50pm(We started ordering at 7.05pm.) They charged a fine if we had more than 100g wasted food so we tried our best 2 finish everything which was almost impossible. We had missed 4min of the England vs Portuguay match and by then England had 1 goal. David Beckham was given a freekick and Gamarra headed it in accidently, making it an own goal. The overall match was boring as it was one-sided and had no action. Mind you, this is a long post so if you're bored, don't continue. The cellgrp members came 2 see our suite(we changed our room 2 a suite for a special rate.) and the children and I played cards until 12am this morning. The suite was really grand, I tell you. My brother, mother and I watched d Trinidad & Tobago match in bed until half-time before going to sleep @ 1am.
Day 3: A worship session was held at the suite until 10.45am. After that, most of us left for the activity centre and I played a few rounds of carrom again. I saw a schoolmate/ex-classmate there(I saw him d day b4 too.). We then checked out and went 2 a nearby resort for lunch. I played cards w/ d other kids while eating and swatting pesky houseflies @ the same time. After saying goodbyes, we departed and travelled back. I think there's gonna b another trip like this @ d end of the year, hopefully. Before the trip, I always don't look forward 2 it until I reach d place. Then the fun begins...
