REVELATION. 6:08 PM

kendrick lee is playing against taufik hidayat. and as sheen claimed, the score was 10+ to 5 with ken... you can guess. oh well, but nvm at least he got to the finals. and we 4+ million people here on this small island should be thankful for that. what were the chances? the last time any guy got into the singles finals was in 1983- 24 years ago. so cmon, be grateful. yes, i know its somewhat like persuading myself to believe that even if he loses, i'll still be happy. i hope i succeed. cos its just really a shame, you know?
oh yes! singapore has just scored against vietnam in the 3rd and 4th placing football match. yay. though it was kinda obvious they would win. its only thailand that are difficult (: haha.
ok... ok... its okay if he loses. if he wins: YAY! pray that he'll win. he'll win. be optimistic. optimistic. oh yeah, just a qn:
do catholics go to Heaven? i'm just pondering. i hope so. they do believe in God anw right?

KENDRICK CAN
Shuttler Earns Place In Men's Singles Final
[pic above]As the SEA Games competition comes to an end in Korat, all attention will be on shuttler Kendrick Lee (picture) who provided the best highlight today (Dec 13) for Team Singapore. He has earned a place in the final of the men's singles, following his impressive 2-0 win over his Thai opponent.
Commendable FeatThis feat is all the more commendable when one considers the quality of the field. Indeed, though this may be "just" the SEA Games, the fact is that some of the world's best shuttlers hail from this region. For example, countries like Indonesia and Malaysia are world class in this sport.
Perfect End?If Kendrick does indeed win gold, it will be the perfect end for what has been a great year for him. He has stepped out of the shadows of his more illustrious team mate Ronald Susilo with some outstanding performances in international competitions this year. Even in the team event here in Korat, he played a role in Singapore's defeat of Malaysia with his win over the higher-ranked Yeoh Kay Bin in the opening match. Though he lost to Indonesia's Taufik Hidayat in his match during the team final, he gave a good account of himself in the opening singles.
Classy WinYesterday we asked the question: can the man who carried the Singapore flag as he led our 250-strong contingent at the 24th SEA Games opening ceremony earn a place in the men's singles final? He has answered the question with his classy semi-final win. Now, the whole nation wants to know: can Kendrick win gold? Stay tuned as we give up updates on his progress.
