REVELATION. 8:00 PM
yesterday... was friday. there was a super strict hair & attire check. i almost got caught, because of a fan. yes, a fan. just when the woman was about to walk away, the fan blew. and so happened i didnt clip that bit up so it flew in front of my face. gah. but anw good thing all i had to do was clip it up. whew. anw only two people in our class got picked out, whereas 2G had like, 5 or more... anw, yest was slack, as usual. only stayed for cca till 1600 cos i finally decided to go for the planet shakers concert at the max pavillion. please note, i did not regret going. it rocked. but anw, i went back home to change first, tgt with olivia and eunice. then my dad sent us to the expo. lol, becky was already there, since 1600. we reached at around 1645 after buying bk's. queued up in the baking hot sun for almost 2 hours! haha but it was worth it. we shouldnt have went so early, but nvm. ate dinner and played a round of taiti while waiting. but most of the time we were suaning becky about her finally went in at abt 6.30. we were in the non-ticket lane so we were the last priority>< was walking in when some indian guy gave us 7 tickets for some reason. haha. so i ended up taking 2 extra tix w/o anyone to give it to. eunice, oli and i chionged inside for seats and at the same time, leaving becky and james alone (: hahahahaha. anw, the concert was totally.awesome. it was super super cool cos everyone was jumping and lifting their hands. you could totally feel God's presence in there. the music was so vibrant and loud that it was as if your hearts were pumping. but we got used to that anw. some of the songs were nice too. the song currently etched in my mine is Mighty to Save: Everyone needs compassion A love that's never failing Let mercy fall on me Everyone needs forgiveness A kindness of a Savior The hope of nations Savior He can move the mountains My God is Mighty to save He is Mighty to save Forever Author of salvation He rose and conquered the grave Jesus conquered the grave So take me as You find me All my fears and failures Fill my life again I give my life to follow Everything i believe in Now i surrender Shine your light and let the whole world see We're singing for the glory of the risen King... Jesus but some others like Rain on Me was nice too. there was a break in the middle while some guy talked about youthAlpha. my legs were kinda tired by then. but who cared? so long as we had fun and could praise and worship:D then the next bit was even better. Tim Hughes came and sang some songs (eg. one way and mighty to save). the finale was spectacular! wow. i mean, the lights were flashing and everyone was jumping and singing their lungs out. and then when it ended, ppl around us were chanting, "we want more! we want more!" like a riot. haha. and really, the planet shakers and Tim Hughes came up once more to sing another song. cant rmb the title and tune. gah. it was like a normal concert except that it wasnt normal. ppl were praising God instead of just singing along with the band! wow. ive never experienced such a revival. so i think that i shall go for the hillsongs concert on 24th may. i need to get tix then... got out around 2235 and took like, 10 min to walk out to the expo's taxi stand! yeah, its that big and crowded. while we were going out, we saw jocelyn lang and i saw beth going in the opp direction.haha. i think i would i have knew a lot of ppl. and i barely missed sc :P got home and immediately went to bed. sort of. haha was kinda tired because of all the jumping xD but i tell you, it was fun. very very fun! it just makes me love God more. one way, Jesus, you're the only one that I could live for.
