rewind to yesterday: left early from sch, during lit. darn, missed romeo and juliet. but at least i got to watch the famous balcony scene. "romeo, romeo, where art thou?" haha. passionate. and it turned out i didnt need to leave early! argh. but jiaying and clara did anw.
ate lunch at dawson shopping centre or sth. ive never been to the southern part of spore so it was pretty foreign. lol. passed by quite a no of schs. finally reached dhs at abt 1.35pm and queued. saw queenie, cherlyn, yiying and some others. the queue was extremely long. and saw becky too, so we queued with her. and she and i were making jokes. butt-to-butt relationships! bet we'll have more of them next sat.
and i tell you, dhs is old. well, obviously. i mean, its the holding school. and their hall has no aircon! okay that was actually quite obvious too. lol. i spent time (from 1350-1500) sitting near the stinky toilet reading a book and for 15 min, talking to clar. lol. and after that, my batt ran out. how nice. left in a ulu-ated part of spore with no hp!
saw the queue was building so i joined it. saw gary, kian leong and dave. fast forward to the test: it was not bad, as expected (as told by fiona). easy at the start, hard at the end. and all patterns! well yeah, it was an aptitude test after all. 38 qns in 30 min and i finished at the 29th min. lol.
finally came back at 5+. darn shacked. but oh well, still went to cell anw, which was fun cos justin taught me how to solve a rubik's cube. lol currently i only rmb the first bit... and josh finally lent me reflex too! yay the sequel to jumper.
today:
slacked in the morn as usual. was kinda unwilling to go to vj on a sat... not cos of chip or anything lol! but we had to wear sch uni and all. sheesh. reached there and roamed abt till i saw clara. registered at the booth. wow, they had scanners to scan our ezlink card! haha. so i was in LT2, clara LT3. becky came too. met michelle and saw tons of ppl. to name a few, rui shuang, kerwei, dave, semele, phoebe, queenie, audrey, cherlyn, yiying, fiona and her twin, roohi, preethi, caleb, tiong jin, justin, jun yang, kian leong... uh, oh yeah, tabitha, christel. thats all i rmb for now. haha.
the LT was rather weird. aircon and all, but the tables... egad. super shaky and throughout the whole 2 tests, i could hear people dropping their papers and stationery! lol. math was rather tough cos there was a lot of working and little time. no calculators too. haha. but oh well, expected.
english was chim. all short compres and arguments. then we had to draw conclusions from the passage, and choose a point (multiple choice) that weakens/strengthens the argument. actually i thought the english was quite interesting, but everyone had no time to finish. neither did i, so i skipped the last few mcq and went to the two 8-mark qns xD which was a less than 100 word essay. for both. based on the passage, sth abt reading.
but overall, of course i thought it was easier than math. more relaxing. the test finished at 1804 sharp and i left after that, ard 15min later. stupid snack vending machine was jammed with a choco pocky (lol sheen) packet! the flap couldnt swing in. argh. so i couldnt buy my m&ms. lol.
actually it was an experience to rmb. quite fun playing ard with becky. okay that sounds sick. but yeah, got to see vj but didnt see *anyone* else. unfortunately. haha ;)
so since its 2322 now, i shall stop. haha. i took a pic in vj, post it soon. only sheen will understand. and maybe kueh.
