REVELATION. 9:00 PM
so... friday was the last day of school! yay. dr boon had to give a speech and therefore we missed precious history time! D: couldnt watch finish freedom writers in the end. hmph. watched the lucy show for eng... haha. recess and then chinese. played a game, quite fun even though we lost anyway. lol. lit! tried to watch freedom writers at the summer lab, but as usual, the region was set to usa and freedom writers in asia. so.. couldnt watch. halfway, zhilian (or wdv his name) came to collect donations for the sichuan quake victims. didnt donate money cos i didnt have small change, only $10. lol. and i was definitely not going to give $10 xD the next day, sat. went to tj in the morning for ip test. gah. reached at ard 8.20 and met clara and becky near a 'stage'. queued for awhile and saw many ppl i knew, as usual. eg: kien leong, dave, gary, huixuan, joshua choy, valerie, melissa, melina, phoebe... the test was at the hall. sat at the front row. math was easier than vj's i think. cos it was more of thinking math olympiad qns and not syllabus stuff. well, okay but it was hard too. english was 2 written essays! egad. vj's was easier i think. more relaxing xD had to write a critical response which i dont even know what its abt >< oh well. took a nap in the afternn and then when i woke up around 1700, found that eunice was alr making her way to the hillsongs concert at the max pavillion, expo. lol. so was kinda rushed. ate a snack, changed and left. massive jam uptill the expo. so dropped halfway and walked that super long distance to hall 9. about like, 700m or more? found that eunice and olivia were alr inside. and i thought it would be like the planetshakers concert where we just had to queue and all. but i was wrong- security was tight and very organised. stickers on ticket, hole punch sticker, goodie bag, direct you to diff groups. lol. met them at the orange section. becky came earlier so she was directed to the blue section. hung around, ate chips and stuff. then when the doors opened and the first grp was directed in, everyone dashed in! haha. to maximize space, there were no chairs at the front. egad. lol. cos there were over 7000 ppl. found some space at the right to the stage. my bro said he sat on chairs at the stands cos he was 'too old for this'. hahaha. some 'warm up' stuff again and they wanted to teach us dance moves to 'tell the world'! which was insane cos we couldnt possibly follow. haha but there was this cheer which was easy to rmb, to the tune of hey mickey.lol: hey Jesus hey Jesus You're so fine You're so fine You blow my mind hey Jesus hey hey hey Jesus! lol! but anw the concert was awesome. duh. planetshakers was more rock, this was more... slow? haha. some cool songs: tell the world, mighty to save, You're all I need, inside out and another song. cant rmb. i shall get the cd ;DD thought pastor ben talked for a bit too long but anw. saw beth and veena after the concert. also met becky's church friends- vanessa, joshua and some others. in the end i went back with coleman, sent him back (and dropped by red bean's house on the way haha). when becky saw coleman she was like, "HEY KELLY'S FRIEND!" lol! [wow this is a long post] yesterday: went to the Bi8 ideA carnival at ngee an civic plaza! whee. took mrt and saw jeremie! hahahaha so fun. "you guys very weird leh." lol. went to kino for books and ended up spending ages there xD sheen bought rising sun by michael crichton for eng project. so if lance, wm or may see this, note that the author has changed to michael crichton. yeah. heard from my bro that his books are not bad. also bought (finally) the sleepwalker and dark sun (cherub books) at kino. lol, total was $19.80 and sheen's book + 2 japanese books cost $67! haha. went to the fair, saw fiona xie, joanne peh and felicia chin at first, then went to scan and get my prize. turned out to be a small bottle of jacob's creek wine... lol. hung around till nat ho came on stage. snapped photos and followed him from booth to booth xD this whole swarm including that woman was there... egad. haha. got autographed poster. yay. post pics soon. took mrt back, etc, etc. today: SYPC! @ acsi. fun but tiring. actually thats such a cliche statement. haha. used a "pro" camera for the first time. whee. lol. some guy called ray chua gave a talk on cameras, had lunch (not bad), briefing and then left acs. took 14 to dover mrt, then took mrt to some random place: jurong east! xD for fun, since it was only 2 stops away. dover, clementi, jurong east. hah. hung around the mrt station for ages! lol. took 'emo' pics. kinda embarassing cos there was this whole crowd of ppl and i was emoing by the escalator xD then went next to a bubble tea stall and took some shots too. hung around, deciding what to do again. decided to go to jurong centre or sth like that. mcdonald's. strawberry milkshake and medium fries cos i was extremely hungry. time: 1430 or so. haha. saw mediacorp artiste...uh, sth fa. cant rmb his surname and first character. sth sth fa. lol. with his wife and daughter.the girl was cute. lol. then went out of macs to take some spastic photos! haha but not bad la. lol. me groping for my specs! hahaha. and me enjoying macs while the guy behind me was selling tissue... not bed eh? ;) then walked back and on the way to the station, there was this crippled man and a boy giving out pamphlets. so we spent ages snapping shots. the blinding sun, the boy and the cripple. one boy pic was not bad;D the sun pic(s) taken by sheen too. haha. and during one shot, this moth/butterfly actually flew onto my finger w/o me knowing. lol. and well, standing out there in the open taking random shots in public was made the subject of some ppl's critisism... "tsk, what's there so nice to take. no privacy." -a woman when we were trying to take the crippled and another ite student stuck a peace sign into the camera's view. sheeeeeesh. lol. ah well. so since it was super early, we took a train to pasir ris! joking. towards pasir ris. haha. took to commonwealth (tong qian lol.jk) and didnt do a single thing! we were that aimless. just stopped, sat on the track and waited till the next train heading toward boon lay (dover, back the way we came) came. lol! then we took it, 2 stops. commonwealth, buona vista, dover. took 14 back to acsi. walked aimlessly around again, up to a hdb area. hung around a mama shop and a dustbin! hahaha. played around with sheen's wide angle lens. haha. then waited at the busstop for seniors pris and jacq but turned out that they went to another busstop, i think. lol. took some more pics and viewed others. finally went back to acsi, to the com lab to edit photos. just basic editing anyway. chose 2 of our photos and 3 of seniors (*ahem*). oh well. left ard 6.15pm. gotta go back there tmr at 10am for day 2 of sypc. haha. wow, this is a super long post and it took the whole night! its 2210 right now... signing off. not gonna change the fonts today. oops :P
