i havent really posted 'properly' in a long time. oh well. what ive been planning to say for the past few days is already old news so, well. that leaves me with today.
english in the history room, for the persuasive essay presentation. dreading tmr's essay writing. gah. we were supposed to be the 2nd last grp but ended up last cos we let danielle go first. in the end mrs koh wanted all the grps to present and it was alr eating into home ec lesson, so we had to hurry. turned out that sheen, wm and i just went up and stayed silent, while lance basically presented the whole thing. and it was really rushed. oh well.
home ec in the lab was pretty boring. had to do our proposal and all those impt documents, which was a bore. i was praying and hoping that phototaking would come soon, but it turned out mdm lur let us off at 9.15 anyway. darn! but we got there and tried to squeeze the time so we queued and got ready. finally took photos at abt 9.40 when we were supposed to leave sch by 9.30. sheen and i rushed back to class to grab stuff while i was trying to call a cab. first i dialled 6552 2222 which i thought was comfort cab, but it turned out to be wrong, so i dialled 6325 2222 which i thought was the 6-way cab thingy. wrong as well. and someone actually picked up the phone. ahh. finally, to save time i called home and my maid said it was 6552 1111 for comfort ><
after eons on hold, someone finally got me a cab. and it was extremely fast, though the wait time was FOREVER. i meant, on hold time. the cab came just when i put down the phone. wow. and we told the taxi driver to speed, which he did xD got there 20min late but nth happened. just meant we had less time to practice.
bukit panjang was a strong opponent. pretty pro. we didnt expect to win or anything but it turned out to be a not-so-fair game for us cos the gate barrier jammed and we couldnt pass, thus making the robot malfunction. and that was our last try, cos the first 2 tries there was robot error and it kept on moving to the left. it crashed into the wall and the end. oh well. hit one target, which was 200 pts, but the stupid supervisor moved the robot halfway-cos the robot needed a slight push- and he moved it directly infront of the friendly so of course it would have hit. ah well. 100 points in total. we have about 5% of getting into the finals, that is, if the rest of the grps screwed theirs up and aint as good as bpghs.
came back to sch just in time for the NE survey that i missed (._.). finished the 14 pgs in abt 7 min cos it was pretty simple. lol. bennett and xz were discussing abt the national day board or sth. and that just about sums up my day... persuasive essay, sci, math ct and aus math comp all tmr. bleh.
