today went by pretty quickly. so did yesterday anyway. math ct was okay, considering the fact that i didnt study. was late for chinese due to sci class test retest. the mcq was a bit...hard? as in, i hardly studied for that either so, well. haha.
and then it came to...*drumroll* the AMC. the australian mathematics competition. woooooooooooow. at the instruction page, it stated, 'the qns will get harder as you go along.' so i did the 1st few qns, thinking, 'hmm. so far so good.' then it came to the 2nd section and i started getting qns i was unsure of. and it went downhill from there. esp the last 5 qns which were-omg-6,7,8,9,10 marks each! plus they were open ended and i didnt know how to do them either. oh well. whose idea was it to be counted? oh yeah, mr chan's ><>;D:D;D we ended the lesson with nothing new but homework. 'fascinating.' as quoted by jon chew (clarence, shut up xD). its back to statistics, with a new name called intepreting -something- graphs -something-. starts with a 'c'. curved blah blah.
english, did the persuasive essay supposedly for mr neo. though if it was a real replacement of form teacher, the letter probably wouldnt exist cos firstly, neither sheen, wm, lance or i am the class monitor, and, i dont think anyone would choose mr neo. oops. oh well. was pretty rushed at the last bit and we digressed, somewhat. haha. so in the end when i handed it in to mrs koh she was like, 'did you guys check?' and i said , 'huh? what you mean by check?' mk: 'kelly, what type of question is that?' me: 'haha but erm, we just read through once.' oh well. but the assignment was fun. somewhat.
cca was spent thinking up ideas for NEmation. had to do it by tmr cos theres the wkshop at-guess where- WOODLANDS! hurray. after the @#$%^& 2.4km run (which i dread. but i'll be able to get an A, i think). how very nice. finally came up with the idea, which is actually not bad. just hope we can put our ideas into reality. and it'll be so cool to win at least top 10. i found 4 entries from NEmation I and II nice: [edit: the animations from the NEmation doesnt work so im taking from youtube]
