    REVELATION. 1:21 PM

quick post before i leave vietnam! haha. flight's at 5.25 vietnam time (6.25 spore time) and we have to check out of the hotel at 1pm. which is in 30 min. vietnam's milkshakes are good and cheap, together with their pho (pronounced faar). they use a lot of MSG though. and amazingly, almost all the hotels have wifi and internet cafes! wow. even though this hotel is like, 1.5 stars.

this hotel, tan hai long (yeah sounds extremely cheena), is about 2 min walk to the ben thanh market, one of the cheapest and most famous markets in ho chi minh. bargain at 50% of the original price and dont budge, they'll give it to you. bought a pair of jeans at around S$17, 2 pairs of shorts at S$6 each. very cheap, even though they're kinda brandless. bought some other t shirts for S$6 and S$6.50... looks like vietnam really is the place to shop, besides china. i think china is still better though.

we touched down sat early morn and went to this place called pho 2000, which is a famous pho shop. pretty good. went to this manicure/pedicure/massage place after that. spent 3 hours there doing massage and manicure! it was great. US $1 for doing a nail design. did 2, on each thumb, so if you see me you'll see some pink thumbs with flower stuff. haha.

second day, we piled into a 13 seater van to head for romana resort. its this place near the sea- 4 hours from ho chi minh! the ride was fun, cos ppl kept on making jokes and this was the first time we saw the 'countryside' too. we drove till night, around 8pm. the roads are pretty ulu so it was pitch dark, which made it all the more fun ;D hahaha. the resort hardly had lights too. and it was really late. the room was good, but the toilet... ugh. it was open air and the bath tub was right next to some flowers. some weird pesky flies were sunbathing in the toilet sink light too :/ i detested the toilet xD

okay, i'll blog somemore back in singapore. when i come home, i shall watch heroes! heh and 24 hours. cant wait. but its quite sad to leave vietnam after 5 days. goodbye saigon, see you again. hopefully. oh and i just realised there are a lot of migratory birds around, so it'll be good for NWSP(:
