im forsaking chem just to blog this post. well, even if i dont do this post i'll be slacking, but still. i just want to let loose my tongue and spew out obscenities, but hey, let me tell you something. in the darkest hour, someone has to take control. someone has to stay calm. someone has to do the right thing. of course, you cant be that person all the time. as for me, i know i can leave it to God. as for others, i dont know- but if you can seek solace in other things, good for you.
its hard being in a leadership position, be it class, cca or school. its tough getting people to listen to you, yes. you supposedly have the authority and the power, yet some people just dont want to listen. its the attitude of course. if you believe that a chicken is blue, and insist that it is blue, it will be blue. sure, everyone knows that chickens aren't blue. but some people are adamant in believing so. so you just leave them. you dont need to care about them. of course, you can try to change them, but if you cant, then there's nothing you can do.
just that if you believe a cca is slack, and you have slacking attitudes, then the cca will be slack. its your decision, because a cca is made up of the people inside, just like a church is made up of Christians. if everyone gives attitude, then there you go! crash goes the community. the world is going crazy, i know. that just further signifies The End. but i dont need to worry, cos i know ive got a place Up There. all im worried abt is my friends.
people give others authority for a reason. you respect your seniors, your teachers, your elders. even if a person is younger or the same age as you, you show them respect by not bullying them, etc. Respect. that one single word can change everything. if people dont give their country leaders respect, why did they vote for them in the first place? these leaders were chosen to be in that position because someone obviously felt that they could take on the job. so if you dont respect them, whats the use of even having them in the first place? they had been deemed fit to do whatever task, so since they're up there at the top, at least listen to them. maybe you think that you didnt want that person to be your leader. it doesnt matter because whats done has been done. so accept it and at least try to do the best you can do under them.
after everything, I know I've got a new resolution to make: I will not have any animosity towards anyone anywhere along my life. i will love each and every person no matter how problematic their attitude may be; no matter how sly, backstabbing or disrespectful. I will make sure it happens and i know it is possible with God. I can and I shall. I just hope others can too.
Life is tough. So face it with God.
