I finally went out today! dropped by the expo for the adidas sale (and popular along the way). went to have lunch at simpang before that. the yong tau foo is not bad xD haha too bad my mum had to go back to work at 2pm so Ah Boh, Jiehan, Jieshen, Jiemin and I went to queue. pretty long. it stretched for 2 halls :x xD finally got in and i saw lee li qun lao shi omg. she asked the security guard what sale it was! hahaha.
we were armed with transparent plastic bags the size of a 6 year old. before we went in, we told each other: 'since we queued for so long, we must buy something!' what a nice do-or-die attitude xD it was rather crowded and so went we first went in, we just looked at the shoes. i guess that was the main attraction. the guys' shoes are nicer! hmph.
the tale of 2 china women: i was going to try on 2 pairs of shoes- same design but different size, cos i couldnt decide which was a better fit- and apparently those were the last 2 left. and these 2 china ladies wanted to buy one of them. then she asked my aunty and i in chinese, 'ni men xuan hao le mei you?' then my aunty was like, 'hai mei you, ni men wei shen me zhe me ji?' and then they backed off. turned out in the end, they wanted the bigger pair and i took it muahahahaha xD i feel evil! :P
in the end we all bought 1 shoe each. total was $270 xD amazing!;D but yeah it was really cool cos i think adidas rocks. and so does adi dassler :D haha. so we stayed true to our pact that we would buy something. at least mine was only $60. i wonder whether i can wear it to school. hmm. its white but theres some silver through out. and its cool! woohoo i am super happy xD
got some correction tape refills at popular when i went with jh. their books are SUPER cheap omg O: there are books going for $2.45! 50% off from $4.50. lol and jh bought 4 for only $21. sadly i didnt have enough money ): but i wasnt really looking for books anyway. haha so overall today was a fun shopping spree. just nice to end off the hols. aww.
going for flag day later today (it just turned 0000) from 8-12am at tampines mall so if you're there be sure to find me and say hi xD oh and DONATE. hahaha.
