    REVELATION. 6:56 PM

To prove my cousin wrong, I shall now blog on the last day of June :D NWSP 09 has finally come to an end. Rather sad actually, after the year of work we've been through. And a Meritorious Award isn't bad!:D Even though its a far cry from NYGS' top prize of $10000, but still. I like the individual plaque, maybe I'll post it here one day. It's clear glass and they even bothered to inscript my name on it. The school shield/plaque is bigger though. I hope to see it in some part of the school one day. haha.

And Mr Roy Adair, CEO of Senoko Powers Coperation, is a super nice guy! When taking photos at our booth, he let me stand between him and Mr. K. Shanmugam. hahaha. I felt a little weird cos I was in between 2 big shots and stuff. Then at the end before he left he congratulated me again, and asked: "You had fun doing this project?" At least he adds a personal touch to this competition.

AND. We were smart enough to bring the huge cheque back to school! lol it was super funny cos the teachers were wondering why we were doing so and we said, 'We can present it to the principal!' XD so its probably sitting in the HOD room now, taking up a lot of space. Last I saw of it though, it was at the staff room but its quite cluttered there (oops:P) so they'll move it. Senoko was quite generous with their door gifts this time. Full of weird gadgets such as a SIM Card contact-back-up device, a calculator, pen, keychain, swiss army knife (somewhat), the nwsp 09 booklet and a photo-cum-pencil holder + clock!:D

So, NWSP 08/09 was a great experience. It was amazing coming this far, and to quote Prof Leo Tan, "Every single one of you is a winner." (No matter how cliche that sounds.) Oh, Prof Tan was the one that gave us a chance in the finals and he told us, "Really great job!" I hope he was satisfied. hahaha. [pics another day/facebook]

anyway, go Darren Choy! Do SHPS/Singapore/SSS proud haha xD (He topped the Byte Class div today, woohoo.)
