NEMATION TOP 20 FTW! This past 3 days has been a really wonderful and interesting experience. First day was totally tiring and our moods were in the down-low, esp in the morning when our idea was completely turned around and we had to completely craft everything again. In the end, after we cooled down during lunch, we just decided to be ENTHUSIASTIC, CONFIDENT and DETERMINED! While waiting, we just went totally bonkers (at least perlyn, jolene and I did. *cough* joohwee xD). And in the end, I guess the judges El and Michelle liked us. Cos we were rather passionate about the whole thing, and I guess our presentation was funny. haha at the last bit I added in a unintentional pun too. Me: I hope to you see you guys again! El: Yes, you will. Later. Me: No, I mean after today. (And then the whole room, cameramen, judges and all burst out laughing.) So yes, I hope our enthusiasm + our creativity will wow the judges this Saturday for the final super pitch! God, grant us the strength, confidence and creativity to get into the top 10 :D
Yesterday, we learnt stop-motion animation and today was Digital 2D. Yesterday was slightly more tedious cos we had to mould clay and paper cutouts, etc. Plus the room was a bit cramped xD So I guess today was more fun, though I prefer using Animaker and stop-motion. Today's toonboom animation thing was pretty cool too, and I drew a super cute robot/television xD plus there was a point during a break where we were fooling around at my station with the stylus and mr Jason walked by. Then he went 'wah, what ji1 ben3 gong1 (the basic knowledge of [generally] martial arts)?' and then later he walked by again and went 'ji1 ben3 gong1 again ah? haha!' then later when he wanted everyone to head back to their seats, he practically said in front of the whole class: 'eh you guys still doing ji1 ben3 gong1?' HAHA it was just so funny and only the AHS people were laughing. The rest just stared blankly xD Okay well its a rather inside joke :P And the-big-bang also got interviewed by the mediacorp okto people today too. So watch out for me on okto! xD I just introduced my group. Anyway it was a pretty short interview and they'll probably cut some bits too.
Anyway, after this week's 'boot camp' (I was reminded of Singapore Idol), I'll post up any pictures or animations which we/I did. Tomorrow and Fri's probably gonna be tiring. But I shall have the strength to carry on! Isaiah 40:31 hahahaha. Oh yes, we have free koufu vouchers and today's chicken chop was not bad indeed. Oh and the 'lucky' M&M machine which either sucked in your money or worked normally. Take your chances! haha. Anyway, I'll blog on Saturday with good news, hopefully! Pray for the AHS teams guys!
