REVELATION. 5:52 PM
Here comes the post about the CCA CHALET! Infocomm Club ftw! Day 01 (Tuesday) Reached chalet with Sheen, Lindy and Jolyn at about 1225 or so. Met Wennie and Wendy at Ehub. Check in time was at 1400 so we grabbed a bite at BBQ Chicken. Good thing they had 1-for-1 so it was worth it. Shiyin came along later to drop off some stuff with Tianjiao and her bf. Spent a long time at the book-in area for Costa Sands cos we needed an 18 year old (and above) to check-in for us, so Sheen called her bro. She started getting paranoid (hahahaha) while we were getting hyper. Or maybe it was just me. We were acting like fools, trading slippers and singing Taylor Swift's You Belong With Me, Craig David's Insomnia (that was just me actually), Poker Face and Sexyback (don't ask). Rachael, Marilyn, Paul and Lionel came later. Fast forward, Sheen's bro (rmb, sansdisk! inside joke.) checked in for us and we got to the chalet. Area D 1422! haha. Lots of people arrived soon after, like Chun Han, Celine, Dionne, Shareen, Jiing Wei, Perlyn, Jolene, Hazel, Xu Cheng, Gary, Jia Min, Ying Jia and Freda. Basically the sec 2s and sec 1s xD Hung around in the chalet, talked, played cards and the usual stuff till the sec 4s arrived at about 1700. Hung around some more outside at the bbq pit while some people helped start the fire. Coined the term 'AHS' Ris Low'. Which is none other than Lim Joo Hwee of 2C09 :D hahaha. Started raining soon after and everyone evacuated. Help transfer the shoes/slippers to the front door to prevent them from being soaked. OH and we came up with... 'only dogs can hear/see/smell it!' Usage: Me: It feels like insomnia, oh whoa whoa~ Jolyn: The high part cannot hear la! Me: Yeah, actually I'm singing you know. But its so high that only dogs can hear it! Even I can't hear it myself. TADA! And we were using it throughout the whole cca chalet. Until now, if you ever see facebook. Hilariously, some people were helping skewer chicken wings in the chalet toilet while it was raining outside. Umbrellas were maxed out as people huddled around the fire and continued barbecuing stuff (amazingly). Finally the rain stopped and we all got out to the back to help out. Jolyn, Jolene, Lindy and some others helped skewer more chilli chicken wings and ended up with hands that looked bloody. So we said that it was a morgue and that we were dissecting some john doe. Okay we didn't really say it like that, but oh well. Came up with two new Ris Low words! 'jooz' and 'hweez'! hahaha 'jooz' means 'I don't care' and 'hweez' means 'I don't know'. Said by our very own Ris Low LJH :D We encouraged her along to give us two new words :P Anyway, went bowling at ehub at night. Didn't play but only watched. Nowadays I'm lazy to bowl. The seniors (Shengyong, Jeremie, Brian, Yi Rong) plus Lionel and Xu Cheng took a lane far from us. The first bit was hilarious cos as quoted from Dionne, 'they do the pose very pro, then when they bowl, all gutter' xD But I guess they were okay. At our lane, however, we were cheering each other on by giving motivations such as... I think I'd better not say lest I die a horrible death at the hands of Jolyn, Lindy, Jiing Wei and (maybe) Meixuan. (Somehow it was very sensitive. hint hint, Lindy.) And then it came to the bit where Jolyn said she'll bowl a strike for me... that only dogs can see. haha! And then somehow it drifted to 'For you, a thousand times over.' amazingly once she said that, she got a strike. See, the powers of me xD Jiing Wei went on to say that every time someone bowled a gutter, it was for me. Should I be touched? hahahaha. Left at 2230 after 2 games. Lindy, Jolyn, Jiing Wei and Meixuan went back to the chalet cos they were sleeping over. Moving on... Day 02 (Wednesday) Rise and shine! (ha.) Reached the same place at 0930 to meet sheen at the bus stop. Walked in to the chalet and quite a few people were there already. Slacked for a super long time- till lunch! Went to the arcade with Meixuan, Shuting, Sheen and the gang. Played the basketball game, which was fun. Played the para-para thing except that we had to use hands, so we each took one side and stuck our hands out like robots. We got a high score! So if you ever go to the arcade at ehub and play para para, look out for the #1 score by 'ICC!' xD Had lunch at BK's.Went back to the chalet and waited a bit more till day games. First game was the chocolate game where everyone ate a piece of chocolate containing either gummy bears, chilli sauce, nothing or sour plum and the other group had to guess what we ate by our facial expressions. Mine was sour plum, and it didnt taste bad actually. I took one later after the game ended and it was a gummy bear one. Super sweet, which I like. haha. Then we played truth or dare with balloons. Halfway it started raining so we went inside and I placed my puma slippers at the side before going in (you'll see how this links later). A lot of dares revolved around yirong such as 'make yirong laugh for 60s' which everyone said was impossible, including yirong himself, so we gave up. Had to do some impersonation which I shan't go into cos it was lame. I wanted to get Gary's dare! Recite the pledge in three languages. Much much easier (: Played something like geo challenge later where we had to see the picture and state the name of the landmark, plus where its found. Then it was song guessing time. Can't believe that I couldn't remember Backstreet Boys' Straight Through My Heart xD haha and Shu Ting knew almost all the chinese songs. I knew... none. Expected, as we all know (: And I'm proud of it! hahaha. Slacked some more in the chalet while waiting for dinner. At about 1600, Lindy and I went out to write the names for the farewell gifts at ehub. Couldn't find my slipper so I thought someone used it to go out cos it was common in the last two days. Used Shu Ting's slipper instead and thought nothing of it. Bought bubble tea at ehub while doing the frames and accidentally ruined Brian's name (sorry! D:) by spelling it with a 'y'. haha. Came back after about 45 min and my slipper still wasn't there, so I started to feel a bit worried. Asked around and got Joo, Perlyn, Jolene, Michelle and Lindy to search for it but we still couldn't :/ Joo said she didn't think it was stolen and we came up with lots of possibilities. Took Perlyn's slippers and went to ehub in the evening with the above mentioned people (excluding Perlyn) to walk around. Fast forward some bits and we met some TJ girls from the Entrepreneur Club who persuaded us to buy their handiworks where you can put photos and stuff. It was something like the shop at plaza sing but we supported them anyway, since it was priced nicely. Ended up talking to them about TJ and one girl from Wushu knew Valerie and Yu Heng xD Then came the bit when suddenly all of them got excited. I said I knew Mr Chow (whom sadly, they didn't know) and Mr Choong (whom amazingly, they ALL knew). It was super funny cos they went 'omg' and 'really?' haha I forgot to ask them whether they knew Mr Ji and all but it was a bit funny cos I'm not used to calling them by their surnames, esp my bro. Looks like Gabriel made a large impression on them then. Not surprised xD I think relief teachers are cool, on a side note. haha. Went back for pizza. Ate half a slice of Hawaiian which was Joo Hwee's cos I didn't eat the other flavor (veg, I think). Watched Faizal's performance on SG Idol before the farewell came. There was a cake and candles lined in the shape of a heart, which was pretty. Apparently I didn't get to say my speech but it doesn't matter. [Oh, rewind a bit] Turns our someone stole Lionel's slippers too which was just a day old. So we got everyone to put their slippers inside. I guess this episode taught us not to take things for granted; that there were really people whose conscience won't even nag at them when they wear the slippers they stole. In the end, bought slippers from Watson's on the way back for $3.50. Too bad it can't replace my one-green-one-white pair of puma slippers from ben thanh market in ho chi minh ): but never mind, I still have a blue pair at home. [Back to the present/not-so-present] Presented the photo frames to the sec 4s like some prize ceremony then we cut the cake. I was asked to run to cheers and buy paper plates so I took Jolyn's slippers cos I was barefoot. So happened that that was the time where everyone started caking everyone else, so Jolyn later told me that she had to run around barefooted xD hahaha in the end I got caked too which wasn't bad cos it was just a few swipes and stuff. Rather fun! :D Went home after the eating of the cake and caking, at about 2120. Watched SG Idol and was amazed. Looks like it'll be Sezairi for the win. But have faith people! xD Slacked the whole of today away blogging this post. haha. 4 more days to N.E.mation. I await it with trepidation yet excitement. Filming the 'I Will...' pledge tomorrow! Okay goodbye. Fringe tonight! (On my dvd xD)
