LAST DAY OF ALPS/SCHOOL! I should be happy but somehow I feel sad. One year's gone again and next year's the final year in AHS. 3 years have gone in a blink of an eye. Too fast; it's just too fast. Just when I'm enjoying it too. So juniors, treasure your time you have in AHS. Your friends, your teachers, everyone. Because when you reach the end of your sec school journey, you shouldn't regret anything you've done. I just told my nemation group members today at Eunos (hahaha): 'Turelie Carpe Diem- Seize the day.' So really, seize it, don't regret.
And after 4 years, when you look back and reflect, oh, how you'll be thankful for these days of youth. Before the harsh cruelty of the world sets in and you're no longer enclosed in that tiny bubble of innocence and protection. You're out in the big world, on your own, taking your first tiny steps like a little child. Innocent and unaware of what hurt the world can do to you. And then WHAM! Something hits you before you know it. You have no time to react, no time to think. And soon, you feel the pain. You're injured, you're hurt. You simply lick your wounds like a wounded animal and retreat into your bubble. Round One to the World.
But of course, we can't live in the bubble of security forever. After secondary school, it's time to get serious. 17 years of living in this world- its time to grow up and mature. So enjoy the time you have now, before you have to step out of your comfort zone and say goodbye to innocence. Round Two, Round Three and the rounds after that... It's up to you to decide who's going to win. You vs. the World. Play well.
Peach Blossom Studio visit after school! Ran in the rain for the taxi which drove inside our school and didn't see us waving outside the school :/ funny. In the end, we weren't the last to arrive though we were about 5 min late. The studio was rather cool. Wacom tablets and macs! haha pretty small and it was open area concept. Quite arty too xD To read more, visit Joohwee's blog here! Kinda lazy to blog about it now cos I want to watch Amazing Race and was watching American Gladiators on channel 5 just now. First time ever! I thought only ntv7 (a Malaysian channel) showed it. Its cool, go watch it! haha.
Anyway, looking forward to December. UK beckons and so does NEmation, though I know it'll be tough. 10 more days! Guess we can start the countdown. the-big-bang! Sadly we have re-exams next year (wonderful) which I don't see the point of having cos honestly, not everyone's that free to study like they did for eoys. The easiest hw is still English! haha The Island is a good show. Ewan McGregor! :D Shall sign off here. Oh and P.S. @the-big-bang! I WILL UPLOAD THE PHOTOS TMR ON FB :D take group photo soon yeah!
(Oh and I saw an article on Lewis Hamilton on pg 4 of 2009 月 06 issue of 少年文摘! Written by some guy whose chinese name really sounds like Schumacher. Should be him I think xD Yay! Though it'll be much more interesting if its in english :/)
